Hidden in one of the most charming streets of Brussels, where romance inevitably embraces us—perhaps due to the proximity to the birthplace of Audrey Hepburn, a neighbor to the restaurant—Bogart - Foodies Corner was born from what was meant to be a jazz club. Life's twists led three friends to invest in the place, turning it into one of our sweetest discoveries in recent times.
The venue is intimate, blending the vibe of a jazz club with that of an elegant, more chic than rustic small restaurant, adorned beautifully in black and gold. The daily menu is displayed on a blackboard, changing with the market's offerings and the chefs' inspirations.
The essence of 'Bogart's' cuisine lies in the precision of its dishes, embodying a genuine fusion of Mediterranean and French cuisines. It relies on local produce and highlights the most important element: taste.
Faced with this delightful fusion, customers quickly fill the small room to enjoy this spontaneous cuisine, reimagined daily based on fresh arrivals and crafted with a homemade spirit: Focaccia & Caprino (Rosemary focaccia slice, goat cheese mousse, sun-dried tomatoes, Taggiasche olives, honey), Calamaro & Caponata (Roasted calamari, Sicilian sweet and sour vegetable caponata, almonds), Pasta con pomodori confit & pecorino (Orecchiette, 'aglio&olio' sauce, confit cherry tomatoes, Pecorino fondue, basil coulis), Gambero rosso di Mazara (Sicilian red shrimp carpaccio, buffalo mozzarella mousse, peas, black olive focaccia crumble), or Salmone BBQ (BBQ glazed salmon, red beans, and peppers).
