There are many 'brasseries' in Namur. And yet, some more than others, pull their pin from the bowl of whelks by displaying real experiences at the table. And when you know the background of the trio of entrepreneurs behind this brewery, you can understand that the sauce has taken, and that it holds.

Starting with the unique setting, highlighted by large bay windows opening onto a terrace next to the quai de Meuse. You are indeed here in one of the only brewery of the region to propose a terrace at the edge of water with bench of scaling. The terrace is also heated so that you can make the most of this unique and close contact with the peaceful flow of one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe (unless it's the world?). In any case, there are plenty of people here. For a quick lunch or a menu based on well-prepared products, connoisseurs have quickly made it their landmark. Fine cuts of meat, classic - or royal - vol-au-vent and sweetbreads braised with morels delight meat lovers, while on the iodine side, one obviously picks from the constantly rearranged and enticing bench of shellfish, guaranteeing impeccable freshness. In addition to oysters, lobsters and shellfish, you can of course always find a small tomato with shrimps or one of the fish that varies according to the tides, such as sole, salmon or cod.

In season, the suggestions vary, inspired by the markets, the market gardeners but also the fishermen, gatherers and hunters. This allows everyone to indulge, whether it is just for a dish before the show or for an evening with friends or family. We also appreciate the good service. The wine list is built up over time and, there too, offers a variety that will delight both lovers of fine labels and those who prefer small discoveries. The large bar is not only there to decorate, you can order a cocktail, a local beer or a "little last one for the road". Because no, not everyone comes by boat...

In summer, it is more than advisable to book on the terrace.
