Brussels is sometimes criticized for lacking ambition. This is not the case with Park Side Brasserie which has clearly reached the heights of the "gastrodomes" – those places where you can count the place settings by the hundred - as seen in Paris, London or New York.
L'Idiot du Village (the village idiot) is a place to meet that is anything but stupid. Here there two complementary personalities. On the right, Olivier Le Bret, an outgoing character who lights up the room with panache. On the left, Alain Gascoin, a gentle introvert who expresses himself in the cooking.
First of all, Bert Meewis' beautiful place is simply sumptuous. Located among the lush greenery in the heart of Limburg, the Slagmolen found its ideal nest place in an authentic water mill in the Bosbeek valley in Opglabbeek.
