Miss Kang
Sometimes, it only takes a few smiles, a beautiful light, a breathtaking view and a good energy for a place to win you over instantly. It should always be that way.
Miss Kang makes that promise — and keeps it beautifully.
The idea is that of an Asian brasserie: family-friendly, open to everyone — young or old, chopstick masters or fork enthusiasts, in a hurry or not.
The interior feels both modern and serene, all clean lines and soft textures. You feel at ease right away. The dining room embraces the light of Lake Genval like a calm cocoon, sheltered from the noise of the city. The gentle murmur of the water soothes the moment; the terrace extends that quiet grace.
What could be a risky concept elsewhere is here handled with confidence by two seasoned professionals: Cédric Cavalin and Gaëtan Lotin lead the way.
The menu leans toward Chinese inspiration, unfolding a repertoire of precise, familiar flavours: steamed dim sum, crispy spring rolls, pan-fried gyoza. Among the highlights: pepper soup (Canh-Cay with chicken, bamboo and mushrooms), Xazxiù noodles with lacquered pork, lemongrass and ginger chicken, beef with eight delights, or scampi and squid with ginger and basil. And of course, the Peking-style duck, served with pancakes, leeks and hoisin sauce — executed with perfect balance.
Each plate reflects the care for ingredients, the precision of technique, and that rare respect for flavour that so few places still uphold. All supported by a well-curated wine cellar and beautiful cocktails designed as liquid extensions of the journey.
Professional service, sincere smiles at every level — nothing rings false here.
Miss Kang is Asia by the lake.
A place alive, gentle, genuine.
And above all, true to its promise.
