Restaurant Mona Lisa
Arriving in Yvoir already feels like stepping into a story. And at Mona Lisa, a beautiful new chapter begins.
Inside, the setting reflects the soul of the village: clean and bright, like a masterful large-format photograph. It’s always reassuring to find yourself in a place of good taste, whatever form it may take. At Mona Lisa, you’ll find elegant contemporary furniture, warm wooden walls, and soft lighting cascading from the sides – as if to highlight or inspire the guest. The atmosphere creates a sense of intimacy and calm.
Still, there’s one real reason to step through the doors of Mona Lisa: the food. Crafted by a young chef, the cuisine is both generous and refined, heartfelt and precise. Staying true to its Italian spirit, it delights the family table while also charming the refined palate – where care and taste are the golden rules.
Emanuele Indorato, a native of Adrano, a town in the heart of Sicily, is the creator of these thoughtful and carefully composed plates. He cooks with passion and precision, letting the product shine, and composing flavourful dishes such as those on the current menu:
Hamachi, corn, coconut milk, Amalfi lemon – Mosaic of Mechelen asparagus, Nori, smoked salmon heart, nasturtiums – Acquerello risotto, eggplant caviar, grilled tomatoes, goat ricotta – Ravioli del Plin, grilled octopus, cacciucco alla livornese sauce – Wild sea bass, mousseline, zucchini, nettle beurre blanc – Kintoa pork fillet, sweet potato textures, miso, rich jus – Kiwi, white chocolate ganache and yoghurt, coconut ice cream.
You’ll feel swept away on a journey through Italy, between boldness and finesse, indulgence and delicacy.
In the dining room, Rosa adds a gentle presence to her chef-partner’s culinary eloquence, presenting dishes and wines with soft-spoken Italian charm.
If Italy is a land of magnificent contrasts, then Mona Lisa is one of its finest and most faithful ambassadors.
