In Genval, it sometimes takes very little for a place to carry you away.
A smile, the right light, an open view, and that quiet energy that gently draws you in. Miss Kang achieves this balance with rare ease.

Facing the lake, just a few steps from the water, the restaurant settles like a pause in time. From the moment you enter, your gaze naturally drifts. Clean lines, soft materials, a space that breathes. The dining room captures the lake’s light like a calming setting, away from the rhythm of the city. The soft murmur of the water accompanies conversations, while the terrace extends this almost suspended sense of calm.

The concept is that of an Asian brasserie, open and generous. A lively place, accessible to all, where you can either share a few dishes or linger over a full meal.

At the helm, Cédric Cavalin and Gaëtan Lotin bring a precise and controlled dynamic. Nothing is left to chance, yet nothing feels rigid. The balance comes naturally, carried by a well-aligned team and a service that never overplays its role.

The menu, deeply rooted in Chinese tradition, offers a clear and effective repertoire: steamed dim sum, crispy spring rolls, perfectly seared gyoza. Then come the signatures: a vibrant and aromatic Canh-Cay pepper soup, Xazxiù noodles with lacquered pork, lemongrass and ginger chicken, beef with eight treasures, or scampi and calamari with ginger and basil. And of course, the lacquered duck, served in the traditional way with pancakes, leeks and hoisin sauce — precise, clean and convincing.

The restaurant now expands its offering with new, convivial experiences: Vietnamese and Thai fondues, a build-your-own rice table, and Korean barbecue. Immersive formats designed to extend the moment, to cook together, and to turn the meal into a true ritual.

Each dish reflects care for the product and precision in execution. A cuisine that is clear, generous and true to flavour. The wine list and thoughtfully crafted cocktails extend the culinary journey.

The service is professional and attentive, always carried by genuine smiles. Nothing feels forced here. You are simply welcomed.

Miss Kang is Asia by the lake.
A place that is lively, gentle and sincere.
And above all, true to its promise.
