Promised Land

As you leave the noise behind, the road calms, the sky clears, and the air grows lighter. There, in the quiet charm of the countryside of Silly, lies La Table de Jeanne — a sincere, luminous house, like a chosen stop, like something meant to be.

Jeanne is more than a name; it’s a promise — of genuine hospitality, thoughtful attention, and a table dressed with the kind of simple elegance that makes all the difference. Here, everything breathes harmony: soft light, muted tones, warm wood… and that rare feeling of being truly welcomed, even recognized.

Tom Moreau, the chef, embodies this serenity. At seventeen, a summer job as a waiter changed everything. He turned toward the kitchen — his true playground. He learned fast, travelled to Canada, discovered cold smoking, plant-based cuisine, and game preparation, before returning to Belgium with a conviction: one day he would open his own restaurant. It would be simple, honest, human. It would bear a name — Jeanne, that of his daughter, that of sincerity passed on.

In his Silly home, the décor plays with understatement: natural materials, soft light, soothing silence. Nothing loud or ostentatious — just a place to live and breathe.
In the kitchen, Tom crafts a refined terroir cuisine, inspired by the seasons and by local producers. His plates are clear, balanced, and generous. Precise cooking, delicate sauces, and a confident vegetal touch — a true, sincere cuisine, free of artifice.

Around him, a young and enthusiastic team reflects the spirit of the house — kind, attentive, and devoted to sharing.
And when you leave La Table de Jeanne, you take with you the same feeling: that of a gentle, peaceful moment, like time spent with dear friends.

Here, nothing is imposed — everything is offered.
And perhaps that is what makes this house truly precious.
