Le Vugo
January 2026.
Some announcements stand apart from all others.
This one opens a genuine new chapter: after months of patient searching, Vugo has found the place where its next story will be written. A grand house, admired for years by those who passed it, will soon become a gastronomic home. A place of table, welcome and craft, designed to receive differently. Better. With more breadth.
In the meantime, Rue du Phénix remains the anchor. Service continues there—solid, sincere, with the same attention to every plate and every face. But behind the scenes, a new project is taking shape. Materials are chosen, light is imagined, spaces begin to appear. A house is being born.
This move is far from a simple change of address. It is the opportunity to affirm a cuisine that sharpens itself season after season: clear, rooted, shaped with growing mastery. A cuisine that, like Jérôme Axters’ in Mouscron, draws its strength from perfect cooking, clean lines, and controlled radiance on the plate.
Behind this new address lies a true driving force: the loyalty of its guests. Those who return, those who discover, those who encourage. It is thanks to them that the team can dream bigger and build a table that reflects who they are.
“It’s the project of a lifetime,” they say. A project crafted with heart, to welcome yours.
While waiting for the opening, the kitchen continues to breathe life into Rue du Phénix.
And very soon, a new address will enrich the gastronomic landscape of Wallonia.
