For a number of years, Giuseppe Santoro worked on many transalpine restaurants in the Belgian capital. Some time ago, having hung up his dungarees, he brought the joy back into fine Italian cuisine on the chaussée de Louvain in Wavre.
Assisted in the dining room by his wife Isabelle, we can say right away, despite the passing of the years those great hands still have what it takes. He has always remained faithful to healthy, natural Italian cuisine, keeping a sharp eye on the ever-changing produce offered by the markets. Giuseppe offers up dishes that are full of flavours—he lets his creativity explode in meals that respect the taste buds, evidence of a master at work. Our man has established his pedigree in this sunny form of cuisine in this quiet Brabançonne town.
And through the years, always moving with the times, Giuseppe and Isabelle have succeeded in every aspect of this beautiful establishment, which also boasts a superb cellar where the grappas, old vintages and other precious bottles can be safely stored. This place really is unavoidable…
