Restaurant Michel is located in a beautiful smart villa a stone’s throw from the ring, almost snuggled up against the castle at Grand-Bigard. Robert Van Landeghem, having for a long time worked as Michel Coppen’s right-hand man, has taken up the reins at this magnificent institution in the suburbs of Brussels. And his cooking was rightly awarded a Michelin star in November 2008. Robert Van Landeghem has it all worked out - buy the best produce from the best suppliers and make sure that every dish is sincere, brimming with personality. Our generous host invites us on an authentic gastronomic journey with a menu that the guest can adjust to his or her own taste. And the formula works time and time again, seducing at every turn. Robert Van Landeghemand and his wife are clearly very happy in this house of cooking and we reap the benefits.
