Reaching the Chinese summit...
Ever since the opening of the main restaurant in the centre of Namur in 1985, Chez Chen has lost none of its lustre in the eyes of those who know their Chinese food. And the success continues unabated, so much so that several years ago Chez Chen created a new gem in its culinary crown which stands out from other places we come across. On the banks of la Meuse, the locale is sumptuous if you choose a table overlooking the flowing river. And the interior decoration has nothing to do with the usual clichés associated with this kind of restaurant, no kitsch statues and no pentatonic ambience. Sober, elegant, modern, it is split into various sections, offering guests intimacy and comfort.
Food-wise, the menus are refined but affordable. The main menu has fish and crustaceans and duck of course – roasted Peking-style, chillied or with fresh asparagus. For those who like Chinese ho-ko fondues, just order a day in advance and enjoy! And as for filling your glass, they know their wines here and how to price it just right. Let yourself go...
